Biopsy-dependent. 4 working days.
Test Normal Range:
No fixed normal range; reports loss or retention of MMR proteins.
What is the Test?
An IHC test evaluating **MMR proteins (MLH1, MSH2, MSH6, PMS2)** to determine MSI status indirectly.
Test Procedure:
Loss or retention of staining patterns is assessed to detect mismatch repair deficiency.
When to Take the Test:
When investigating MSI status for immunotherapy or Lynch syndrome screening.
Who Should Take This Test:
Patients with colorectal, endometrial or gastric cancers.
Precautions for Exceptional Cases (Pregnancy, etc.):
Ensure tumour content >10%; inform doctor if pregnant.
